How to set up Interest Groups 


Guests > Select a Guest > Interest Groups 


Interest Groups allow you to easily locate groups of guests in ResNexus. Interest Groups are also useful for marketing purposes. 

  • To create an Interest Group 

    • From the Master Guest page (for a specific guest), click Interest Groups 

    • Type the name of the Interest Group in the gray text field

    • Push Enter on your keyboard

      • This will create the Interest Group and automatically assign this guest to this Interest Group

  • To assign a guest to an Interest Group

    • From the Master Guest page (for a specific guest), click Interest Groups

    • Check the box(es) next to the Interest Group(s) for this guest

      • This will automatically save the guest to the Interest Groups

  • To remove an Interest Group

    • From the Master Guest page (for any guest), click Interest Groups

    • Click the red trash can next to the Interest Group Name

    • Confirm. 

  • To search for guests by Interest

    • Go to Guests (in the black dropdown menu) > By Interest

    • Check the box next to the Interest Group you want to view.

    • Click View.

  • To send promotional emails to guests by Interest

    • Go to Marketing (in the black dropdown menu) > Promotions

    • Click Add.

    • Fill in the promotional email information.

    • Check the box that says “Send e-mails to the following interest groups”

    • Select the Interest Group(s).

    • Save and send the email.
