Front Desk Overview

The Front Desk tool allows you to view all reservations taking place on a specific date. This makes it easy to view arrivals and departures and to check guests in and out.
To change the date
Click the arrows on either side of the date or select the date from the drop-down menu.
To sort the list by room or guest status
Click the drop-down and select “By Room” or “By Guest Status”.
“By Guest Status” shows which guests are arriving, departing, or staying over.
To change detail level
Click the drop-down menu and select “Detail: Low”, “Detail: Medium”, or “Detail: High”
You can also select “Show full notes” to show even more detail.
To order the guests by name
Select the bubble next to “First Name” to sort by the guest’s first name.
Select the bubble next to “Last Name” to sort by the guest’s last name.
To view arrivals, departures, or stayovers
Click the Arrivals tab. This will display all reservations arriving on this date.
Click the Departures tab. This will display all reservations departing on this date.
Click the Stayovers tab. This will display all current reservations with a previous arrival date and a later departure date.
To check guests in or out
To check a guest in, check the box next to the reservation. If the reservation is in the Arrivals section, this will mark the guest as checked in.
To check a guest out, check the box next to the reservation. If the reservation is in the Departures section, this will mark the guest as checked out.
To view a guest summary
Scroll to bottom of the screen.
Guest Status Summary is shown in the lower left corner.
The summary shows the number of guests arriving, number who have arrived/checked in, number staying over, number departing, number departed/checked out, total, and a breakdown of the number of people on the property in the morning and in the evening.
To Print the Front Desk
Click the printer icon at the top right of the screen.
