Once you log into ResNexus go to Reservations -> Search. Enter the guest's phone number, name or reservation number. Reservations in RED were cancelled. Click on the guest's reservation number to pull up the guest's reservation information and other details.
To the right of the Summary page are several tabs. Click on the Tax Exempt tab. This will pull up the Tax Exempt page.
On this page, "This reservation is not tax exempt" should be checked. Below it are three tax-exempt options. You can either enter in a Tax Exempt ID into the box, make the entire reservation tax exempt or exempt the reservation from particular taxes whether it be a Room Tax, Sales Tax, Alcohol Tax and so on.
Once a tax-exempt option has been selected, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
