Reservation notes are only for the specific reservation. Use "Guest" preferences/special needs to record permanent guest notes.

For example, a guest who is allergic to strawberries should be recorded in guest preferences/special needs to inform you the next time that guest stays with you. Or if a guest breaks a lamp, reservation notes are ideal for recording issues for the innkeeper. Reservation notes do get sent out in Confirmation and Cancellation Emails. If there's ever an issue reservation notes can be referenced to find out what happened.

To lookup guest preferences/special needs log onto ResNexus -> Reservations -> Search. Enter the guest's phone number, name or information number. Reservations in RED were cancelled. Click on the guest's reservation number to pull up the guest's reservation information and other details.

In short, preferences are guest specific and reservation notes are reservation specific.

Click "Save" when you are finished.
